Day Eleven of Froguary!
Pearl, a quiet midwest frog, moved to Texas to escape the harsh winter. There, she met Fred. At first, they seemed like opposites. Fred was loud. Pearl was quiet. Fred talked to everyone. Pearl was shy. But they compliment each other nicely. Fred encourages Pearl to be bold. Pearl inspired Fred with her wisdom and kindness. Eventually friendship turns to to affection, which turned to love, and now, Pearl and Fred have been married for quite sometime. In their retirement, they are surrounded by generations of their family, and many grand-tadpoles. Life has thrown them many curveballs, but they have always had each other, and their life has been beautiful. Now, they have to sneak away to find time together. Their life is filled with so much love and noise, but sometimes it’s necessary to find quiet, and take time to watch the sun set over the sunflower field.
